KAPTN KEN                    Cape Blanco  Lighthouse

  Cape Blanco lighthouse is located on the western most portion of US land, 5 miles north of Port Orford on highway 101. There is a sign on the highway, then 5 miles west to the Cape Blanco State Park. It had a beautiful second order Fresnel lens. The lighthouse is open to the public in the Summer from 10am - 3pm each day except Wednesday and Thursday. Close by is the Historic Hughes House that is open to the public also.
